Event Time and Date

Friday, September 7 2012, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

K-Day is short for Keweenaw Day and is a longstanding tradition at Michigan
Tech. K-day is known for many different events and activities for students
to get acclimated to another academic year.

Student organizations head out to McLain State Park and set up displays and
demonstrations for students.

Every year at K-Day, there is food, music, and other fun activities.

Students have two choices for getting out to the State Park. They can drive
out to McLain or take a bus, the bus can get you to K-Day for no charge!
Buses leave the Memorial Union Building about every half hour to take
students out to the park.

Organized by the Interfraternity Council and funded by YOUR Student
Activity Fee!

2012 plans include Live Band Karaoke, Water Slides and a Climbing Wall.
